When brothers Sal and Jim Murgo founded the business in 1968 under the name Connecticut forklift, they dreamed about the success the business would have and how it would provide jobs and opportunity for generations for their families and plenty of other people too. And that dream has come true in so many ways. Tri-Lift is a working third generation business and is 120 team members strong with little to no turnover. This means we have been able to supply steady employment to many people throughout the norteast area thanks to our loyal customers.
With the basic ideals of honesty, value, hard work, ethics and building relationships, Tri-Lift has grown from the brothers’ dream in a 4,000 square foot facility in 1968 to (5) locations, 114,000 square feet carrying those same standards and ideals, with multiple world-class vendors serving our steadfast customers past, current, present, and future.
